Cybersecurity Policy and Compliance Analyst, Senior

Key Role:
Conduct security assessments of SCI systems and networks for a Navy client community. Perform specialized security engineering and architecture and technical IT services within one or more of the following areas: policy and planning, information assurance, information systems security engineering, systems analysis, Cloud-based technologies, service-oriented architectures (SOA), Web services, applications software, operating systems, network services, and cross domain solutions. Report results to the client for final recommendation to the Navy Authorizing Official (AO) or Delegated Authorizing Official (DAO). Confer with the Security Controls Assessor Division head to assess, discuss, and provide guidance to customers. Analyze new methods, approaches and procedures, provide advice and guidance on complex IT issues, interpret and policies, standards, and guidelines, conduct analyses of recommend resolution for complex issues impacting operations and evaluate and recommend the adoption of new or enhanced products and approaches. Evaluate and analyze inherent security features of SCI information systems to ensure hardware and software protections are adequate. Recommend hardware and software replacements to meet current and future security requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
-10 years of experience with assessments and authorization, including Intelligence Community (IC) Directive 503 or NIST Framework
-3 years of experience with project management
-Experience with DoD, Navy, and IC tools, systems, and reporting mechanisms and requirements for A&A
-Experience with information assurance, including accreditation, security testing, and evaluation
-Experience with establishing and managing high performing C&A teams, including adopting industry, DoD, and IC standards to create information services center best practices
-Knowledge of the DoD, IC and national level system security initiatives and secure Information, Local Area Network (LAN), or Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree
-DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level II or III Certification, including CISSP, CAP, GSLC, or CISM

Additional Qualifications:
-Ability to exercise customer relations and team building expertise
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-BA or BS degree in IT, IA, or related field

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
