Customer Service Representative: Local Propane and Fuel Retail Company

Join a fun team of hard working people at a fast growing locally owned company. We are a family owned propane & fuel delivery company serving he surrounding communities. We also operate a small local gas station at the same location.

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to help service and grow our business.

Must be an extremely competent, energetic and team-oriented individual, who demonstrates strong customer service & co-worker relationship skills. 

As a Customer Service Representative, you will provide industry-leading, first-class customer service to our residential, commercial, and agricultural customers. 

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 

Able to effectively take customer orders by phone and maintain accounts in QuickBooks.

Excellent communications skills both written and verbal maintaining strict professionalism in all customer correspondence. Well organized with processing paperwork including invoices, statements and scheduling.

Ability to effectively deal with the demands and expectations of a high-paced, high-volume operation. Must have a positive attitude, be reliable and dependable.

Answer initial and follow-up phone calls from customers who place orders or request service and technical support issues - ability to take full responsibility, from start to finish. 

Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, service work, and delivery invoices in a courteous and helpful manner. Maintain organized files and workspace.

Provide timely and thorough resolution of all issues raised by customers, as well as documenting all actions and correspondence.

Customer billing and accounts receivable support. 

Able to provide support for counter sales when necessary.

Maintain consistent quality and performance expectations set out by management.

* Proficient math skills

* Computer skills. QuickBooks experience a plus. 

* Previous counter sales/cashier experience a plus

* Prior industry experience a plus.
